Rack ears...Ive got a few peices that have the scews on the side...and normally can use them...but I cannot find any places or websites that will sell the rack ears:confused:

Rack ears aren't all necessarily the same size for each piece of gear. By this, I mean the part of the rack ear which joins onto the side of a unit. Some rack ears need to have little bevels and little checks out of them to accommodate quirky little fittings in order to fit properly. You'll need to be carful and look at the sides of your units well before knowing exactly what to get.

Best thing would be to come by them from the manufacturer of the particular piece of equipment. Or, go to a metal worker with the gear and a specimen ear from another rackable piece of equipment highlighting that you want 'this' but to fit onto 'that' particular unit.

Alternatively, use rack trays with the gear.

Hope this helps

I know the holes that bolt to the rack would be fine, but wouldn't most rack equipment have different hole patterns on the side that bolts to the equipment? I wouldn't think they'd be interchangable, you'll prolly have to get ears from the equipment manufacturer, or parts dept or whatever..

Its an old DBX 3bx from the 80s...Ive noticed that behringer has them bolted the same way...Ive allready tried DBX...they dont provide them sadly.

You can buy one space rack trays and set the gear in that.
