Hey!

Tell me what you think of this.....or I'll kill you!!!

Again.:D

Good to see you back! Haven't seen you around in awhile. I just had a feeling you were on another recording jag...

Wish I could download this but as usual it works for about 14 seconds and then stops. God, I freaking HATE dialup! :(

Well, I'm sure it's as great as the rest of your music!

P.S. You're not going to kill me because of dialup are you?

Funkster!
Excellent song, drives along.
I didn't listen too closely to the lyric but will do.
The 1st bass note is in tune & in time but lacks attack - it's too high to hit me - it's a note position/choice thing not a recording issue.
The bass drum in the verse is clickier than you usually record - it doesn't sound as clicky in the chorus.
I did, on occasion, want to hear the vocal a bit meatier or up front.
This is all 1st listen so I'll drop in again when I've replayed it.
Excellent song.

Rami!

Excellent song again
Bass frequencies are VERY well balanced, curious is that bass seems played with fingers (and I know you use a pick).I tend to pay attention to bass/bd
thing, and you did a great job again.Kick ever loud, but controlled.Stereo image excellent too. Sorry, no advices :D
Top quality again, congrats Rami

Rami

your songs always make me smile, nice work.

i like the nice spread and pull in the corus <no pun intended.

nice.

oh also

oh also, no advice my figuers say this is ready to press dude, everything else is opinion.

oh maybe an ultra low cut or a DC offset only because the bass is nice and fat.

Thanx alot for the input, Ray. I'm not sure how I'd get the vocals meatier. I don't think I cut more low's than usual, though you might not be talking about bassiness. I'll check out the bass sound again and see if I can get more attack from it, if neccassary. Thanx man.

Thanx alot, CIRO. Yeah, I play with a pick. I think it just might be a "finger" type riff. It's in "A" so I was able to use the open string to my advantage.

Thanx Black. Yeah, I don't have subs, so you might be right about the bass. I'll have to check it out on a better system to see if that bass isn't too much.
wow....i love this. i must hear your other stuff lol
Hey Zoso....Thanx man. I hope you do check out some more of my stuff. I hope you like it. :)

Gosh, if I didn't know better, I'd think you were singing about sex. This is way better than the vocals I've heard from you before. Very nice tight double take that really works well. I can tell you've put some time into it. The drums . . . well . . . what can I say about the drums to a master drummer?

Enjoyed the listen.:)

Very cool song Ram-rod. Very funky. I've been waiting for something new from you. :)

I think the bass guitar is just a little bit boomy on the lower notes. Or maybe it's just a hint too loud overall. I think you could drop it a touch or gently cut some super-lows and tighten up the bottom end a little more. The rest is pretty damn perfect to me. I love how the vocals sit in the mix but they're still plenty understandable. The drums sound awesome. Great job overall. :)

Thanx alot, Xeries....How you doing anyway???

You got to get your mind out of the guuter, dude. Those are harmless (and rather juvenile) lyrics. :D :D :D

Thanx buddy. After a few days of not listening to it, I find it obvious that the bass is a bit much. I think I just need to cut a little under 100hz. Good ears. :D

I might as well post the stupid lyrics, since they've been commented on:

Where the Sun Don't Shine (words and music by RAMI)

(performed by rami)

I said I got something for your nasty mood
Let's enjoy a game of twister in the nude
I'm a low brow when I want some more
It's a nick-nack-paddy-whack open the door
She said you got to mind your p's and q's
I said you got to lose everything but the shoes
'cause you could never say you dig what you never done
And you can never go away if you never come

Hang up your hang ups ‘cause you know I've got my hand up
Let me enjoy your vertical smile
If your mind can conceive it then your body can achieve it
Even though you got no class you still got all kinds of style
Running round your garden again

Chorus
Where the sun don't shine

She said I find you primitive and rude
And I really don't care for your attitude
I said I'll tell you something that you ought to know
If you dig it now wait until it starts to grow
Don't want to wake up the neighbors when I come inside
Shine a light on your back door tonight
Jam on a muff...in the morning's good
Start a fire in your chimney cause I got the wood

Don't turn and run cause you are just like a gun
My finger's on your trigger ready to fire
Open your mind and let me pour it all inside
I got to sock it to your socket like a plug on a wire
Running round your garden again and I stumbled upon your little friend

Chorus
The tide's high and it's flowing going where the sun don't shine
It's high time for pink flower power where the sun don't shine

No time to waste it cause I just got to taste it
Satisfy my carnivore appetite
What you get is what you see you're so tender and juicy
It's so finger licking good it's the only way to dine
Running through your garden again and I stumbled upon your little friend

Chorus
The tide's high and it's flowing going where the sun don't shine
It's high time for pink flower power where the sun don't shine
Where the sun don't shine
Where the sun don't shine

RE: 100hz

oh sorry when i said the bass was fat, I might have said the wrong thing, on further analysis the bass appears to sit nicely at actually around 104 or 106hz at it's peak?

i think the low issue really is what i call "flap" off the bass drum, so an actuate cut of 45hz would do the trick maybe 50hz then if you liked you could get a normal EQ and pull a 2q spike down onto 64hz and just adjust that for taste, I only mention it because if you cut at say 90hz you run the risk of really pulling up the guitars as per the even flow and such and I don't think the prob is the "bass guitar" but Bass "flap" from the kik.

Regardless don’t do anything drastic, at least not based on any of my comments, I know what it’s like to listen something to death and hear things. <lol*

*(listen something to death and hear things.)(sounds normnal to me)

Meatier - I probably should've said more up front/louder.
Excellent work!

Another excellent tune Rami. Well written, performed and mixed

Excellent tune and production. My only suggestion would be to make the talk part a little louder. I am struggling to catch the words, and since the words are interesting and fast, one shouldnt have to work to hear it. Other than that, its terrific stuff. Very complex, lots of stuff in here.

That was RAMI-tastic or maybe even RAMI-tabulous. :p
Nice groove, guitar / bass riff-works.
Always love to hear your tunes.
