Hey Robin,
I'm in NYC as well, and believe it or not. There isnt much here I could find. Have you found anything?
I went to one spot (cant remember the name) around 18th and bdwy, It was very expensive, $50.00 dollars for estimate and close to 300.00 for repair. I learned from the estimate and some good friends here and Rolf @ vintagetx, that all I needed to do was replace a switch!
Recently I put up an ad on craigslist trying to find someone that could calibrate my 80-8, and got no replies.
What exactly is the problem? Maybe it's something you could fix yourself, with a little support.
Steve
