WHeRE DoES The PREAMP GO???!!!

Hi i just got an ART TUBE MP mic preamp. I want to use it for my guitar also.
I have an effects pedal(which i use for distortion) and a solid-state amp.
I as well want to run it direct into recording interface at some point also.
What order do i put these in???!! does it go guitar>preamp>pedal>amp/interface??????
i have no idea! perhaps guitar>pedal>preamp>amp
i guess the main issue is does the preamp go before or after the distortion/pedal????
help!

I will sometimes use the Presonus Tube Pre as a DI for guitar after my Boss Multi-Effects.

Try this:

Guitar > Pedal > Preamp > Interface

I would not put the pedal after the pre, it would sound shitty and maybe damage the electronics.

If you want to mic the amp you probably cant use the ART. I don't think the MP has a sidechain output. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)
