I am looking for wallplates with XLR and 1/4 connectors....I must be looking for the wrong thing 'cause I can't find them. Any help?? :)

Thanks,

I made mine. However, you can contect Markertek, and they have stock prepunched plates, or they'll do it for you if you don't want to make chips yourself. http://www.markertek.com/MTStore/Store.cfm?Search=wall+plate&button=Search

They are pretty easy to do, but only if you are comfortable working metal. I picked up Hubbell blanks from the local electrical supply emporium, and went nuts with Dykem and drill press.

I posted some images in http://www.homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?threadid=25365 , down in the last half of the thread...

thanks skippy.

I have 0 metal working tools and 0 knowledge of it. I am basically re-habing this old studio I have now to bring it up to date. It will be a long process, I can see that now. But it's all fun.
Thanks for the start.

They punched the plates and installed the XLR and 1/4" TRS jacks in them for me (12 plates w total of 30 jacks). Pretty good price, I thought. Neutrik connectors. 4 years of abuse later and all the jacks are still working and secure where they should be.
They could probably ship you your order if you give them a call.
It's mainly an electronics hobby shop, but they have audio connectors and cable too. Not sure if they have anything better than Neutrik, though ... you'd have to ask them. Sorry, no web presence as far as I can find.
