They discontinued most of the older models and have a couple of new models offered now-I think they need to reissue them again!

The 59' is cool but I'm not crazy about the other one-still not sure who is selling them-everyone just seems to have pedals---

These U2's were damned cool, I played one at a gig years back and it felt and played great!

Whoops, forgot that was tkingen, not pikingrin :o

They have a couple of the reissue U-2s, 59s, and Longhorn basses at Bill's Music in Catonsville, Maryland.

Or at least they did a few weeks ago when I was there last.

I once saw a used Danelectro baritone, at Guitar Center in Indianapolis several years ago, and I was so giddy about actually finding a baritone of any kind at any music store, I forgot about the B-E-A-D-F#-B tuning, and ended up fairly lost trying to try it out. Had I kept my senses about me, I could have asked the guy few feet away, test driving a Strat, if he could play a B note, so I could see if the thing was even in tune. Now that I have my Fender Bass VI, I don't think I'll worry much about baritones.
