Where Can I Get Free / Cheap Drum Loops?

I'm looking for free / cheap drum loops to import to my Guitartracks Pro 2 software. I've heard of hammerhead. This would be for hard rockin beats...not hip hop. I'm a rocker.

What are the best free options?

How about cheap / higher quality options? I've heard of Acid Rock...which from the sound of it would fit my tastes.

I can't find anything rockin for free out there. Bunch of hip hop techno stuff.

Do I break down and buy Acid Rock?

Get the two cd's from DOD, they'll keep you busy for months....

I have no connection with Drums on Demand, I happen to be a songwriter like you, been there, you ain't gonna find many gratis useable pop-rock loops.
 
I'll second Calidus' suggestion! The DOD loops CD (either Volume 1 or 2) goes for about $49. They are primarily geared towards rock/pop and they appear to be well recorded. They are also easy to use with standard loop software (I assume that Cakewalk's GuitarTracks Pro can import and edit 24bit loops.)

You gotta dig... here's some I've found.

Also, think out of the box... some of the funk/R&B/hip-hop loops can sound pretty interesting with some nice crunchy guitar over top...
