Where can I find Yorkville ysm-1's?

Hey everybody,

I really need help finding a good place to buy yorkville ysm-1 monitors. If anybody has had a good experience buying theirs online or over the phone and shipping fedex/ups, please let me know. I just took delivery on a pair and they were damaged - the place I got them from can't replace them anytime soon, so I'll have to find another dealer. I'm in Los Angeles, so if anybody had the name or number of a place I could actually drive to and pick them up, that would be equally helpful.

do me a favor and post where you got those monitors, it will help us all out in the future. I would also inform Yorkville of the dealer you bought those from, because they are very big on customer service and satisfaction.

As far as me, i got mine from shockwave audio in Cincinnati, where I live. But I am pretty sure they can drop-ship them to you. Look them up at http://shockwaveaudio.com . They're really good guys there.

yes, I plan to absolutely ruin the company I ordered those monitors from with online warnings to groups like these, as soon as I have confirmation that they've refunded my money.

You can punch up Yorkville on the net. I was lucky that there was a back door dealer in Grand Rapids; thus, my Yorkvilles came in at 108 pezzutos per speaker; I am very happy with these monitors. For the $$$ there isn't any comparison to the Alesis 1 monitors I unplugged.

If you want the number of my dealer in Grand Rapids Michigan, I can send that to you. The speakers are not HEAVY so the shipping should be reasonable.

yeah, I've looked all over the net for places, there aren't a whole lot. The place I originally got them from sold them to me for $89 each with no tax and free shipping. I called yorkville the other day, and apparently there are 6 authorized dealers within half an hour of my house. So it looks like I'll be ok.
