When using both mackie control n xt ? also c4

Who Cares!
1. does it show as 1-16.
2. which unit shows the first 8 channels.
3. can the order be changed.
4. if bank change is pressed does it go from 17-24 on both control n xt
5. can the c4 be used only 4 editing parameters only ex. select channel 1 it jumps the compressor settings on c4 and tweak away.

Most DAW's allow you to arrange how your controllers show the channels however you choose.

I Use Logic/DP and Cubase and I have mine arranged in the DAW how I need them to show up. The units are basically like dumb terminals you tell them what / where you want them to be.

So If you want the XT to be ch 1-8 you assign it as the 1st controller and vice versa...

The C4 is for parameter editng. At least that is how it is programmed in Logic. To find out the support and use for your DAW check with your DAW manufacturer.
