When i add another track to my song on cakewalk the sound quility starts to sound bad.each track i put on the worst it sounds.anyone know why this happens
these are audio tracks.it is hard to explain what type of distortion it is but ill say its like a strong reverb.the more tracks i put on the stronger it gets,i guess it gets louder like you said
Is it possible that with each new track, you are re-recording the exisiting tracks along with the new material? This would sound bad, as they will not playback absolutely dead on with the original tracks, and so cause some filtering effects that might cause it to sound off, a little fuzzy, or distant, or thin...
nope i take it off of arm.but when i record my voice for a short time i notice that after that section of recorded stuff is over it starts to sound good again,im lost.
thats it.i use a cheep little mixer and i go output #1 into the sound card in and the out put of the sound card into the input of my mixer.oh yeah the other output of my mixer go into my amp.How can i solve this problem
When the track are armed they record. Taking it off arm prevents you from recording over the same track. But if you arm a new track and record, and it's recording all the other stuff as well as the new material (since it's playing back) , you'll have a problem. Your last comment (that when the track ends the others that go on sound OK again) leads me to think more than I did before that this is your problem.
