Whats your fav song U wrote?

Whats your favorite song that you have written ?Not what everyone else likes but the one you feel is the best ?Mines a song called "Shotgun"..Its not one that will get any airplay {local}
and it will most likely be a hidden track ,CD I'm working on..Its got just two" A "sections ..

Theres a room out back
in the Shotgun shack
where we used to live...
A picture on a wall
devideing a hall
where memorys creap up the stairs..
A breeze slams the door
heard that ghost before
when you left...
Theres a slow dance sound
crying out loud..

Verse2.....

Theres a tree out back
I see it thru a crack
where we used to hide..
A swing on a branch
hangin over a path
where memorys run thru the leaves...
A breeze shakes the tree
could you hear my plea..
when you left..
Theres a low numb sound
your not around..
This shacks not a home
anymore..

Favorite composition?

Whatever the last one I finish is.

I'm always partial to my latest work.

my favorite song thus far is the opener of my next cd project.. it encompasses much of my recent influences gleaned from Tool and Second Coming.. the song details emotions of fear and panic wrapped in the mystery of a suspicious murder.

My most powerful musical and lyrical statement to date.

Henri,

Unfortunately my CD is far from complete. I have decided to postpone any real recording until I have enough money for some basic studio necessities. Plus I'm right in the middle of fiscal tax season at work, forcing me to 11 grueling hours a day of tax reporting.. I plan to press record for real just after Christmas..

The upshot is that whatever snippets of time I can spend writing has been quite fruitful: I've written 9 songs that I am extremely proud of, and when I was searching for blank tape space last weekend I ran across a forgotten riff that I brainstormed a year ago.. The riff sucked.. but what followed it sounded very cool and fits with the other material I have designated for the cd.. So it looks like the song count will be 10..

Thanks for asking!:)

Thanks for the Kudos.
It really helps when you get a great artist to record your music.
Willie McCulloch is one of the finests Folk singers that I know.
He is also a wonderful writer as well.
Thanks for listening.:)
