What's vocalizing?

I recently got feedback on my voice from someone and this is what they said

" Unlock your potential to sing high notes. I can see that big possibility. Tryto start vocalizing, search youtube vocalization exercises."

Can someone tell me what this means? What is vocalizing?

I read vocalizing and singing are different.

no ..... well, I suppose ANYthing that comes outta your mouth is vocalizing so technically even doing voice over or reading a book out loud would be vocalizing but in this case they're simply saying practice your singing.

Vocalizing just refers to voice exercises. Similar to the same exercises you would use to warm up, vocalizing is meant to help you master technique and control of your voice. Rather than go into more detail, just read this article:
