with preamps like the Great Rivers, APIs, Avalons...and now maybe the RNP even - I am definately wanting to go this route before long.
But, i am sure my Aardvark Q10 isn't really up to the task of doing such good preamps justice.
The problem is, I am not sure what is? I know the Delta 1010 isn't significantly better...
I hear that the Digi002 isn't going to be anything special.. Hell, a lot of people say that even Pro Tools HD is just par for the course.
Paris 3.0 got some nods, but it is going away of course..
Maybe something from Motu?
Of course, I guess with those pres you would want a really good converter...like at least a Lucid...which is fine..
In any case, what soundcards are really up to the task of a pretty "pro" digital solution
