Since the fall of good music, crap has dominated over the airwaves and some of our buddies have fallen victim to crap. Im trying to figure out a great way to market my music... The genre I make is soft adult contemporary. I would like to make money from it but really all I want to do is let people hear it and maybe they will like it. I've been thinking about trying Taxi and I will do Youtube. I can't wait to do some music videos! I would like your opinion on this because I do need alot of help and knowledge about this subject. I was thinking about making a webpage for my music, videos, bio, such and such. Im really close to finishing one song I have been working on so Im getting prepared to give it a shot.

Try shooting it into space. The market there is wide open.

Saw something the other day saying that while your genre of music doesn't do too well in the US, there is a good market for it in the UK and other parts of Europe. Perhaps you should especially target Europe...

Good luck...

How could I target europe? Any ideas?

Unfortunately "crap" is pervasive in the music industry these days but I would try going the music licensing route. Try submitting your music to music libraries such as jinglepunks.com, audiosparx.com, Pumpaudio, musicsupervisor.com, musicdealers.com, etc.

If you do chose to go this route, however, grow a thick skin and a lot of patience cause you'll need them. Good luck.
