... Stanton STR8-80SK Direct Drive DJ TurnTable and 520SK and the STANTON MAGNETICS STR8-80 Pro DJ TurbTable?

The second one costs more but I don't see the difference between the 2 tables so...

Anyone has the answer?

Try this...

Go to dealtime.com and search for "stanton turntables"... then, on the next page, choose "turntables"... ya'll understand why I was asking this question...

Peace,

the difference must be that "Magnetics" deal - whatever that is - and the silver headshell... but who cares... technics 1210s are what you should be looking at anyway....

OK, I just want to introduce some scratches here and there in my beats so I don't really care about having the cream of the crop... Why is everyone talking about the Technics 1210s?

TIA,
Beathoven

because they'll last for the rest of your life... they're the most sturdy and accurate tables (cause of their high torque)...

Beathoven, you should listen to Chriss.

Technic 1200's and 1210's are the world-wide industry standard turntable.

Some things you just can't bypass having............

Considering that the 1200's and 1210's last a lifetime.

You can pick up a used pair for $200 to $400 USD. ;)
