It's 64 bit, but can you still run regular programs on it like cubaseSX and stuff, or do you need 64 bit programs?

You need applications that will take advantage of the 64-bit architecture.
Your typical Cakewalk programs will only work as a 32-bit program, unless they release a special 64-bit upgrade.
