Whats that sissle?

I have a problem with my cheap strat copy (as you would expect perhaps).
When I play anywhere above "soft", nevermind how high volume goes in or out or if I am recording or just playing. I get a irritating "sissle".
Its not a distortion noise but a high frequensy crackle like if one were to handle the plastic covering a pack of cigarets.

Is it a pick-up problem or perhaps my cord? I only have one cord so I havent been able to try another.

Sounds more like a cable problem - replace your cable, then see about the pickups...

Well nevermind, I´ve found it. It actually was a pick-up prob.
When I tried and put some tape(!) on the edges of my high tone pick-up it helped.
