hello everyone I have a few questions. ok iam new to recording and Have some loose ends to tie up

I recently bought a
delta 1010,
mackie 1402 mixer,
c3000 microphone
roland xp-80
korg triton

my Daw consist of
asus a7m266 mobo
amd 1.3 g processor
2-40 hard drives
sony cd-rw

and my delta works fine with my setup 15 + track including plugins wonderful, but my question is ok I do gospel recording the ones I have done sounds pretty good, but for some reason I feel like the sound is to bright, you know I want that warm sound. It's like what ever I put in is what comes out which is good but I want somewhat "analog-like". Is there anykind of hardware or effect box that I need in my setup. Or is there some kind of plugin which would sound really good, but one that will not color the sound to much
-thanks-

Compression can help warm things up a little. There are tube type plug ins but I havent used any of them.

It really is about the mic you are using. maybe that mic sounds to bright for your tastes.

True, the 3000 is not known for producing a warm sound, nor are the mic pres on the Mackie, although they are very good pres for the money. A tube mic into a Joemeek VC1Qcs will give you some warmth and fatness.
