what's missing?

i'm trying to send what is recorded on track 1(left) track 2 (right) and 3 (left) to the track 4th.
I turned all three pan pods to the right, set all on safe on record function. Then set the pan pod of the track 4 to right, set the fader almost 7, select the buss R, and playback and record.
But when a playback the track 4 alone, there is nothing.

What am i doing wrong???

I own a 424 (original) TAscam.....

Did you enable Track 4 to record?

By the way, they're pan pots (short for potentiometer), not pods.

AlChuck is probably correct. It is normally something simple that a person overlooks.
