You couldn't handle what is in my dreams.....sizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzle... :D

Its a nice ballady type of song, I think an acoustic guitar strummed through it would carry it better than the crashing electric guitar chords that are there now. And a sustained keyboard pad sound would help as well, or just the electric guitar chords slightly in the background with digital reverb maybe, just my take on it anyway.

Its really gotten buried in the mix, it needs to be more of a featured instrument. Is it a thinline acoustic with piezo pickups? A mic'd dreadnaugth acoustic would fit better.

What I did was pan hard one guitar on clean channel and the acoustic panned hard the other side and the distorted one in the middle....I liked the sound of it. Not too clean and not to dirty

Nice bass in this......full and carries a lot of the bottom end. Could use more on the acoustic guitar - maybe more mids and bass = could be it just needs to be closer to the mic.

What are you using for a vocal mic? It's a bit low in the mix, I'd bring it up a tad.

Not a bad mix - just a few changes to bring it out a bit.....

:) :D :) :D

Haha I had to use my sm57 for vocals so it wasnt the best recordings. Its the only mic I had so it too was used for the acoustic guitar but I can't use too much tube when recording acoustic because it has a nasty hum so the recording is pretty dry.

What is better for vocals and acoustic guitar?

I'd rather keep the messy electrics and ditch the acoustic as they are scuzzy like the vocal.
If you really want an acoustic I'd suggest retracking with a 12 string to up the Buffalo Tom vibe.
A Lemonheads/Buff Tom type of thing that is helped by the chiming of the 2nd electric.
