What would you do?

I have:

- Alesis ADAT 8 channel
-rack gear including compressors, preamps, processors, patchbay
- many mics
- 2 mixers
- headphone amp & cans
- PC running win 98

My dilemma:

I want to be able to record the 8 ADAT channels then put them into the computer. Then play them from the computer and record more onto the ADAT and so on. If you guys have any solutions for me I would really appreciate it!

You need a soundcard that allows you Lightpipe I/O between your computer and the ADAT.... check solutions by MOTU or RME........
