What Up???

Ive been having a problem lately. When ever I have say 3 guitars and mix them together Ive been getting distortion only on playback. If I solo out each guitar there is no distortion. But when I blend 2-3 of them together there it is. Even if I spread them out in the stereo field. Im not really sure why its happening. the wavefiles look good. No Plugins, the levels seem good...What Up?

Can you describe your setup? When does the mix happen; when recording, or in post-production?

Im using a Pod Pro in thru my digi-001. I dont believe that Im doing anything differently than Ive ever done before. I do seem to be getting much larger looking waveforms(but they are not visibly clipping) and Im not using anyplugins that would make the tracks distort. When I say mix Im talking that I have say 3 guitars recorded and I want to just spread them out across the stereo field and give them a listen. the distortion is not in the same general area (time) every time either. It seems almost random.
