What type of files can Cubase LE 5 import??

I'm I correct that importing .wav and .mp3 files into Cubase LE5 is not an option? I tried it and it didn't work so I suppose I can answer my own questin on that one unless you pros know how.

In essence you mean to tell me that the only way that the only way to use Cubase is to record directly into it via my audio interface??

Or are there some types of files that can be imported??

No you are not correct.

You're doing something wrong. Read the manual or get a Cubase book.

Select the file.

Mp.3 and wav will both work.
