First i want to say what up. Being new and coming in with a help me isn't too cool without sayin hi first. I have two clips from a jammy jam i'm workin on i'm going to post the links to and hopefully get some feedback. Somethin isn't right in both the verse and the chorus sections. The kick hits nice but doesn't sit exactly right and i can't finger it out. Also the 808 in the chorus won't speak to me and tell me what it wants. How does the guitar sound to you guys? This song is too good to let go but just not right. It'll be a monster once i can get this fixed and move on with the rest of it. I've never posted for help before figuring i would only get pieces of advice that would screw me up. So can someone please tell me exactly what is going on with this mix and what it might need, eq boosted or dropped and where? Something needs HP, LP'd, the ADSR is incorrect on something, etc. I think there is constructive interference going on but i am not smart enough to figure it out for sure on my own yet. Please help! Here are the links to the two clips...Thanks in advance to everyone.

Post this as an mp3 in the mp3 clinic. You'll get a response there. A wave file is just too big to stream, and downloading it can take forever.

Convert it to mp3 and then use http://www.lightningmp3.com to host it.

ok in the verse everything sounds really thin. the guitar sounds over compressed or something. really thin no dynamics. the chorus is a little better the drums and bass are a little tighter and thump. still really thin guitar. also, the little girl "wha" kinda thing is a little to much, maybe you can take that out. imho.

Do as Rokket asks - or put the MP3 on Soundclick or similar - it'll be worth the effort as more people will listen & comment if they have easier access to the track. S/Click would also give you a home for your music on line that is part of a "network".
The MP3 clinic was set up precisely for what you want.

Download time of a 40 meg (average song) 16/44.1 file depending on your provider speed usually is less than a minute.

On it now

Give me a little bit and i'll convert the clips. Was trying all kinds of things last night to no avail  Thanx for the fast replies, sick! Shorte i had a listen and decided it didn't really add to the song much so i removed the "wha" vocal, i have something else in mind now if i can ever figure out this mix. I always have trouble with my mixes. Hopefully joining here and continued reading will improve this because two years of turning knobs isn't doing a damn thing. Some of the songs i do have so much potential but will never go anywhere because i can't get nothing to sit no matter how much i read or practice. So please keep help me as much as you have patience for because i'm ready for the nut house here. Thanx again fellas! I'll get on it shortly, going to make something to eat and i'll be back.
