what software and plugins do you use for mastering?

after i mix down, ill use Waves plugins for a little EQ and maybe some compression....if thats what you call mastering, then thats what i use.....
 
I really like a program called t-racks, but I really wouldn't call it mastering. It just has a nice sound to it when I use it to normalize the levels a bit.

I've also used db-audioware's directx plug-ins. He's got a good sounding compressor, limiter, and multiband limiter. There's a de-esser, too, but I've never used it. That's all I need to be playing with. I don't use EQ on the final mix. Why would I when its easier and less troublesome to just remix with digital recording?

hi im new here but you might want to serch for multi band compressors;limitors and cheak waves plugins
ps the c 4 is a perfect multiband compressor
