You should provide us with some more information. :)

Your budget?

The type of music you are creating?

Skill level?

Will you be using a computer in tandem with the new equip?

If so, computer specs?

Etcetera, etcetera, etc.....

f,real, don't buy anything, unless you already know what your doing. Equipment is always sweet to have, but if you can learn to make beats with bare essentials, and get creative with it----then you know once you cop for that nice shit, your shit is gwonna be hella tight. Like my man said ------let us know your skill level and the equipment you already have.

I agree, word for word. ;)

i am doing underground hip hop. i already have an electribe drum machine. as far as skill level, i can rock the mic than most out there and im moderate at producing since i am still new to it. i may sync it with cubase later. i dont know what i should get next. i like working with samples also. does ne1 know if the triton is a good sampler. what are its drawbacks and what makes the MPCs sampler and sequencer so good to pay 1300 for?

one more thing

i have like 7 songs but dont know how to post it anywhere. i opened a site on mp3.com but posting songs on there i complicated. is there any other way to post my songs on the net? i need opinions from people i dont know since all the people i know heard my music. they say its dope but i want to expand and i think the internet is a good way to be heard

For unda ground hip hop the MPC is the move but if you can afford it can some type of sound module (jv1080,2080,1010) and you will have tons of flavor along with the tight sequencer of the MPC.....

thanks for all the advice

koo i made my decision and got a triton ince the mpc needs a lot of extra things to get the most out of it (like the cd rom drive, zip drive and drum kits). wuts so good about an MPC? the triton can sample and sequence so wut makes the MPC so good? just wondering. let this newbie to the forum know. =)

triton vs mpc

I have the mpc 2000xl and have worked with alot of other stuff(triton,trinity,k2500,asrx,and the asr 10.The mpc has the most acurate sequencer on the market besides asoftware sequencer. SUPER TIGHT
