Hey guys, My name is Jose and I have a band called VENEJER. We only have like 4 months together as a whole band, however, Me (lead G. ) and my vocalist formed the band and started writing songs approx. 10 months ago

Anyways, our music is kind of Melodic rock, with harmonies in the vocals, guitar solos, and some nice drum beats. Right now we starting to publish our music... by ourselves though, we are not signed or anything...yet, hopefully one day ;) ...

So my question is what are some other Great sites where we can Publish our music for free like Mp3.com ???

If you now some of them, that you trust and have used before, or even have heard of, please list them (with your fav. choice at first)

Ok thanx for your time. Peace

Jose.

Acid planet .com pretty busy/ chart system based on reviews nice people there, unlimited free uploads.

Broadjam.com Its ok but the reviews are cutting because they are totally anonomus with no way of getting in touch with your reviewer. Three free uploads but you gotta review lots to get upload credits.

Sonic garden.com unlimited free uploads, picture gallery for your band, videos etc. Cool layout. quiet site for me so far (3 days in) no reviews happening, featured artists seem to be at whim of some unkown weird system!

Garage band.com chart driven by reviews. busy site, you gotta review 15 pairs of tracks to earn an upload credit or pay $? to jump the que. Some reviews are excellent others can be scathing.
Complicated system initially but cool once you are into it. No point unless you are gonna review loads of stuff. Has a cool panel of record producers (including george martin) availabe to review top rated tracks. Lots going on.

Lulu.com pretty quiet as far as music sites go, free uploads and an easy system. no charts and reviews are few n' far between. But it allows you to sell your stuff online (they take 20%), collaborate with others. Nice people/quiet site (i use it as my home page).

Getme music .com cool site but you gotta pay to upload.

Mp3.comau
Australian site, seems cool, still waiting to get tracks posted.

Hope that helps a bit,
Rolf.

CD duplication plants etc?

Christopher, some excellent info there thanks which will keep me busy for a long while.

Just a suggestion... have you thought of including a links section to CD production /duplication/replication firms? Or have you decided against that for some reason?

Haven't decided against it...just haven't gotten around to it. My links section needs to grow quite a bit, as far as I'm concerned, but it takes work. In time.
