I am seriosly looking to improve the QUALITY of sound I am getting from my recording. This is the list of stuff I have. What do you guys reccommend for my next few purchases?

Never mind ... looks like you're also tracking drums and bass.

My first recommendation for improving the sound quality of your recordings would be to get a real amplifier for your guitar. You could sell your Spider, V-amp and Carvin cab on ebay and get almost enough for a nice tube amp. Not sure what kind of stuff you do -- metal, I'm assuming. You can get a Peavey TMP-120 head and an Ampeg cabinet for less than $500 total, I'm guessing.

For $800 or so, you could pick up a THD Univalve -- another one I really like for metal.

The next logical step would be to upgrade your drum kit -- get some nice recording cymbals; think Kustom K dark ... something along those lines.

You might consider a nicer bass guitar, unless of course you're happy with the quality of your bass tracks currently.

After all that, I'd start looking at some nicer mics.

Definitely heed chessrock's advice and look into better instrument equipment. The source is the most important thing. It looks like you've got more money invested in your recording stuff.

Recording forums make me crazy like that. I have been trying not to read them as much because I start thinking about the tens of thousands of dollars I could drop just on mics or something when I don't even have worthwhile instruments to put in front of them.
