What mic do you use to mic your bass cabnit?????

I recorded a band this weekend and i recorded their bass direct and it sounded okay for their sound. I have a beta 52, but i use that on the kick. Would my sennheiser 421 be okay for micing a bass cab? I know it has a really broad dynamic range, so it might be okay.....Maybe i should go try it. Any suggestions>?

The Senn 421 will do a great job. (as will a 57 or any kick mic)

I recently recorded a rock project and used a D112 on the bass cabinet. It turned out sounding great, the best bass sounds I have ever gotten.
