I'm going to be building a little home studio soon and have been scouring the boards for information (searching/using SAE/John's site).
However a couple questions that I really haven't found answers too are...
What should I cover the floor with? (Just thick carpet? - that's what i'd prefer)
What should I cover the walls/ceiling with (Drywall but is there something better? i'm going to be using a resiliant channel)
Also, another question...
My control room is 11 x 17 (a big rectangle) - should i put the mixer facing the wide wall (that'll create less space behind me, but i like this position the best) or is it better to face it to the smaller wall (that way i have there's more room behind me)
