elbenj,
I was actually just bringing my files from my old computer to my new one and now it's being used as a back up. I haven't had enough projects yet to fill up my HD yet, but when I do start filling it up then I will go back and delete the files on my HD. Most of my files are just bits and peices of song ideas that I recorded so I don't forget them (and then I go back and experiment on these), so right now it's more like a scratch pad than anything else.

I haven't had to move my wav folder yet so I'm not sure on how to do this. All I know is that when you install CW you can choose where you want the wav folder to be located, but I don't know how to change it after it's already set up, sorry. :(

When I reload the .bun files back into cakewalk all my tracks are laid out as they were saved, as separate tracks. So why would using .bun files be limiting in any way? James

the .bun appears in the loaded project as seperate files but in actuality the .wav file that they represent is not individual files for each instrument but one long wav file. This can confirmed by opening the CWAF tool and searching for the files attached to your .bun/wrk project. I find it helpful that each instrument is a seperate file if I want to do any editing outsde of cakewalk.

OTH perhaps I am losing my mind?

does the audio appear in the tracks when you look at them in audio view? It seems that mine disappear and I am left with flat lines with no real reference point to edit them from besides time or measure counts....
