What is the best drum machine under $500?

Maybe you might consider doing "Real" Drums....Like picking up a Cheapo used Kit for $150 and a Couple of Mics and Recording your Own beats, I find it a Lot easier to just get on the Kit and Playing the Beat as Opposed to trying to Program the beat into a Machine and a Lot Faster also....

Just a Thought.....

PS: If you don"t know how to play drums you can probably pick them up Pretty quickly cuz if you can program a Beat you can Probably Play it ,at least for a Bar and then you can Just Loop it.... ;)

Thats not true at all! I have heard many folks who could programs beats that would blow your mind, but when set behind a kit just sit there dumb-founded for years.
And I have heard some drummers try to program beats after having been a drum for years, they were lost as can be and way off time.
Yes you can loop it if you can play a beat!
