What Is the best audio interface for the MXL 990

I don't know. But your USB options are quite limited. An edirol UA-25 is probably the best bet. But there's a lot better options in firewire. Or stand alone devices like a Zoom H4 or Fostex FR2LE. I use a mobile pre myself. Not on that mic. But it's noticebly not as good as my DMP3 + Delta 44. Still fairly good though. In a grungy low end sort of way.
