What is my problem?

Hi there!
I have a problem with my soundcard.Actualy my soundcard is onboard and the problem is:My speakers are pluged in Line Out and my guitar is pluged in Line In.I start winamp and play the song that im making and i start soundforge to record the guitar and when i click record the sound from the winamp is recorded with my guitar solo in soundforge.What is my problem?Please help!Thanks!

It might help if you told us what sound card you have. AC97? What is your mb?

I don't know soundforge, but it may be that you have no way of tracking just the line in. That is what you want to record.
 
For a given track, does soundforge allow you to select what input source you are recording? If so, what is your source called, and what options do you have?
 
I think that soundforge has input and output options.I will try.Thanks!
