Stand Up Comity
A friend of mine loaned me an Epiphone hollowbody that I can't seem to identify. It looks like a Casino, same pups, bridge, tailpiece, but it's a single cutaway. What is it?

No. It looks like this, silly man, except for the color and the single cutaway.

I might use to go after those fabulous surf rumble prizes!

How about if I trade you the surf rumble prizes for that guitar :D

Might be the "Emperor" or the "Alleycat"?

The Emperor has humbuckers and a rosewood bridge, and the Alleycat has a stop tailpiece and humbuckers. The one I've got has P90s attached to the body, tune-o-matic, trapeze, and dot inlays.

I believe that's a Dot.

However, I've been wrong before...very, very wrong.

The dot is double cut away.

And has humbuckers, and a stop tailpiece.

The warranty card in the case says Model No OP-25, but I don't find anything by googling, except Opus 25.

Is it an old Epiphone or newer one.

The closest I can think of what "OP" might stand for is the "Olympic", but I believe that's a double cut.

The guy who loaned it me said it was a gift from one of his ex-wives during their marriage. Judging by the strings it hasn't been touched for a while. Could be anywhere from 10 to 20 years old is my guess.

Good enough. I knew there was reason I read all those Musican's Friend Catalogs in the 80's and 90's.
