Manslick
Road
a fire took my house
it came while i was not with my family
my little girl asleep screamed
i was burnt
dry wood and wind
no other is needed
save a hot rock
before the sun sets
a flipped piece of cheese paper
fell on my face
smelled good for a long time
started to bubble
i turnt my edge to the other
and pushed with all my might
i was not up to the toil
maybe i'm light
no i'm lit
well smoked and cured
i said to the barky as i fled
home to douse the house
no brakes i go fast
good for the guard rails
i wail upon the last one too long
no one fails
i run into my cottage
and find my girl ablaze
i put her out
rottage is my fate
she cries like holy water on fire from devel spit
i have no course to sooth her
my mind is working sideways to free her from the pit
make me whole as i once was like an ugly prisoner
my skin drops off in juicy chunks
with fresh red blood to boot
i pass out hard upon this bunk
i'm gone to nightmares.
waters sunk.
dropping way down smooth in twirls in grooves
slowly turning heavy ride
i feel my inside stay
i see a blue sky and grey bird
green palm trees
i feel the soulful breeze that talks to me and says.
go to bed my hero.
sleep a hundred years.
