What prog are you using to burn data discs?

what program do you use? what were you gona say if i didnt say nero

I believe what they are referring to as multisession is the ability to record on only part of the disc at a time. So for example, you could save some data files today to part of the disc, save some more files tomorrow to the disc, more the next day, etc. In a single session disc, you would save your data and then it would finalize the disc right then and you could record no more data, even if there were more space on the disc. Hope that makes sense.

Don't know why the disc won't allow you to access your data though.

yeah i tried using it right after i burned it and im not sure it worked then but i figured id work the problem out and deleted the files... that was a mistake .. i dont know if its a multisession disk or not.. theresa few scratches but if had my drive play discs with much worse sratches... this really stumps me

Pretty much what SonicAlbert said. I currently use Sonic's RecordNow.

Maybe it was just a bad burn and you should try again. Do NOT burn critical data at high speeds - the disc is much more likely to contain errors. I don't burn data discs any faster than 4x.

ok another update.. i insert the disk and go to my computer and click on the drive its in and it allows me to open the drive but there are no files.. so in other words. Instead of it not reckognizing the disc and telling me there isnt as disk.. it allows me to open it up but nothings there...

i know there is data on the disc i can see it when i look at the burned side of the disc

hmmmmm
