What interface to use with my situation.

K well ive been looking around for something that will allow me to setup 8 track recording simo on to my PC . ive seen a few peices of hardware.

Never used anyone of the 2, but I have heard the C-ports are good, I dont know about the other.
Also look into the Delta 1010
