A single channel quality preamp/EQ/ADA converter/phone patch channel strip that snaps under (and is powered by the battery of) a 14.1" Dell laptop. The phone patch must work with cell phones.

Right now... as long as I win the lottery and can afford a new Mac Powerbook... I can do this (kinda, sorta) with a Apogee Duet and a CircuitWerkes MicTel. I just want a cleaner form factor and a kick-ass pre/ADA that doesn't suck hind tit to a Macintosh.

try checking out the retailers that also cater to small radio stations... i've seen a variety of boxes for call in shows that might serve your purpose...

What would you suggest I search for on Google? I'm going to start off with 'small radio station' or perhaps 'pirate radio'.
