I like my recordings.
hi people.

I just buy an Aardvark Aark 20/20, and it is semipro -10,
and I will buy a soundcraft mixer FX-8 that it is +4 in all the outputs.

is there gonna be a problem???

can I change the +4 of the mixer to -10???

thanx.

I mean take it to the electronic to an engineer to do it,
it does not has a button to change the +4 to -10.

Maybe...

But, if you just turn down the main output of your mixer, you should be okay.

Your more immediate concern is making sure that you have the right cable to interconnect the two.

Generally, a mixers +4 output is on a XLR, or a TRS 1/4" balanced connector. This mean 3 wires. I imagine that your soundcard is using a TS 1/4" unbalanced connector. This means two wires. All that you have to remember when making your own cable to go from the balanced to unbalanced is on the unbalanced end of the cable, take the two wire that are hot from the balanced end (pins 2 and 3 on XLR, and the Tip and Ring on a TRS connector) and combine them to the Tip on the unbalanced end. Will work just fine!
