What fan to use in comp??

So what CPU/video card fan do you use in ur comp? Mine has a coolermaster fan and it's too f**k**g loud. Totally unbearable. I'm going to rip the bugger out burn it toss it out my window and get myself a more silent fan. I hear that water cooled is the quietest...any opinions?

I am looking for effective and quite CPU cooler for AMD XP as well.
To large degree effectiveness depends on the fan speed and power, which leads directly to noise. So its a matter of reasonable compromise.
From what I read the best combination (for Athlon) would be Alpha PAL8045 heat sink, one of the best available, and quite Papst 8412HGL fan.
Sufficient cooling, if you do not overclock, and very QUITE.
Not very cheap, though.
