@Metronome

Wow. I don't feel as inadequate anymore. Another bare bones recorder. WOO HOO!!!

Although I would LOVE to have some of the gadgets and gizmos y'all have listed in this forum. Wonderful topic by the way.

Unfortunately...I'm technology challenged and don't/can't figure out how to use most of the 'stuff' I have now.

HA HA!!!

Kudos to Post Mastermindzz...kinda nice to know what everyone else is workin' with. Also see alot of interesting gadgets around to ask more questions about.

Thanks!!!

You can get decent results with what you have. I do all pro recording in the studio, I don't want to be an engineer and you have to respect the fact that engineering takes technical know how as well as talent. I don't know many people who can match studio recordings in their project studio.

mShea:
record with the green looking stuff, but don't mix with it.

CyanJaguar, what are these things:
fostex 3013s'
delta 1010
Lucid genx6
lucid ad9624
symetrix 528
sytek mpx4a

fostex 3013s' .Patchbays so that I dont have to go to the back of the unit everhy time I need to change an output or input. Makes life a heck of a lot easier
delta 1010 . 24/96 soundcard. Best soundcard out there IMHO
Lucid genx6 . House Clock for sycnhronisation. I got it because it makes stuff sound better
lucid ad9624 . 2 Analog-Digital Converter. It brought me to the pro level as far as conversion
symetrix 528. Channel strip. compression, eq, deeser, expander
sytek mpx4a. 4 channel preamp
