OK, I've been doing some one-man-band recordings of my songs in my apartment bedroom - I have a feeling I'm not alone in that situation. One of the tracks randomaly found it's way onto an Oil of Olay television ad, which is on this page, too.
Aside from the obvious weaknesses: 1) compromised drum sounds in an apartment with noise-sensitive tenants on the other side of the walls/floor, and 2) ridiculous lyrics, what do y'all think of these:

Also, some recordings with my friend on vocals, singing his own "real" lyrics, recorded in a location where noise was not a factor:

Any comments greatly appreciated! It sucks doing this stuff in a vacuum with no one to hear it!
