what do you think about George Ls for making my own cables?

they're great because you don't have to solder, but as far as saving a bunch of dough, that would be questionable. they are very good quality however.

I use all George L`s, but not the plugs, too unreliable for gigging.
I use Switchcraft and Neutrik jacks.

as far as "rolling your own" do you think there over priced?

prices are in the link above by the way,

what do you guys think of "DiMarzio braided cables with 90º Switchcraft 1/4" plugs"

Im looking for High Quality sounding cables that are more than reliable and can make my own to save moola.

any other shoutouts on brands you stand by for "roll you own"?

I have used those George L's for years. I love them and not one has failed on me. I bought them on a recommendation from a friend who gigged a lot and he never had problems with the connectors. These cables have been the mainstay of my guitar rack rig for 6 years. I just picked up a few more too....

these ones dont have to be soldered which concerns me, a couple freinds of mine told me that there good cables but the ends keep on thinning out and break, so you have to cut them alil bit and reconnect them always.

also can i get diferent connectors that dont snap on, ones that are normally soldered on and snap them on the George Ls or are they made diffferently?
