Hey guys recently I posted some questions on some gear for my church. Turns out that now I'm in the financial situation where I can start building my own studio. Some questions. What do you guys think I would be missing if I went for this setup, let aside all mic recommendations, just basically everything else.

apogee ad16x w/ firewire
apogee mini-dac w/usb
mackie 824
Trying to mix everything inside the box, maybe get a controller similar to a mackie control surface. Any recommendations on anything else I may have missed. I already have a pretty decent computer and I already have some software. What I'm trying to do exaclty is get the best quality convertion there is, maybe not the best as alot of people have been talking about lavry etc, but almost at the top. What do you guys think, and what am I missing, I've been saving up and I have about 8,000 to spend. Any recommendations or different setups???
