What do ya'll use...

to keep the noise from your mic down/non existant. Right now my problem is that my mic is picking up my room abience and was wondering if there is a noise gate or noise cancelling unit any one could recommend.

if you have Waves you can use the noise reduction plug-in to clear excess noise from vocals

I second that one. I use something from Waves on every song....whether it's de-clicker, de-noiser, eq, list goes on.

I usually get a lot of clicks and pops in my tracks but Waves cleans those up quite nicely....when I finally upgrade my 1999 dinosaur computer (runs like a champ....music just takes those resources up), that'll probably go away....otherwise it'snew soundcard time too.

I have no noise.
