Really, really pretty. Nice sound on that acoustic - you should change your strings more often! Did you buzz a couple of the high notes on those runs, though? And I'm a sucker for steel guitar - you could have mixed it a bit higher for my taste.
An idea about the singing - you do this thing that I do sometimes - you do western/unsophisticated mode - droppin' g's and puttin' a bit o' twang into the vowels. Just try this and see what happens - do it straight, pronounce the g's, and don't bend the vowels like a cowboy. You'll have to work out some new sounds, but keep the voice texture, that's nice.
Alternately, put it as is in the Country/Western forum at garageband.com, and it'll go right up the charts. It's eminently recognizable late night country radio fare. Good work. Now write a new one.
I did not think I would make it through the whole 6.50 but I did
there is a part in the second chorus where it sounds like an overlap of guitar.. was that intentional ?? it kinda of stood out and sounded off a little ....
I love the guitar in this .... very nice ...the lead ride is awesome !!!!
your lyrics are very strong, the only advice I may give on this is to bring your vocals up a bit.. they seem backgroundish ...
I had to turn up my speakers to understand them ...
aside from making it a little shorter ... you did a great job ....
