What do u Think?
Hello I'm back! I state that I'm no expert in these things, but I tried, I have almost finished a "mixing". Listen here:

old: soundcloud.com/dorosito/mr-prova/s-cBl2i

New: soundcloud.com/dorosito/05111421mp3/s-pB1gv

and Stay With me Tonight

give me advice and tips.

Some nice atmospheric sounds, and I like the arpeggios. I'd be interested to hear it with some more reverb or maybe delay on the vocals and maybe with the vocals a little lower, not because the vocals are too up front but just to bring up the power of the music. Some nice catchy vocal hooks.

thanks guys, I will follow your advice and try to do better! :) You are very kind

way way way too much autotune.... your voice sounds good low, but it sounds pushed and reached when you get to the upper registers

In addition to what the other said, the vocals are way out front.

Thank you for your opinions, get better surely, when the register is unfortunately weak, and imposed bad voice, choking on high notes.

I must say, this song could have great potential. Can you post a mix without any Autotune? I would much rather hear the vocals without that extreme autotune 'effect'. Melodyne would be much better IMO for getting notes right, and natural sounding first, before making it an obvious effect the whole song. I might have time to tune the vocal track with Melodyne if you'd like to hear the difference.

Sure. I am not a fan of 'AutoTune' used as an effect. The use of the program, that is obvious that it is being used. I would like to hear this song with the vocals having no 'tuning' whatsoever, to see what is really there to begin with. Your actual performance.

Melodyne is a program that allows one to pitch correct a vocal track, with much less noticeable side affects than what you have in your mix you have posted. It is only my opinion, but I feel that your song would be better without the extreme pitch correction used. Maybe in parts as an effect, but it sounds redundant when used constantly throughout the track.

Oh, okay, it happens that I have is this: you want me to send the acapella to work with you? For me there are no problems, in fact I would really like, the problem that when I recorded the voice then gave me the acapella "pre-mixed". But there are totally different from the effect on this track that I posted on the forum.

I just listened to your first mix. The vocals sound better to me without the Autotune effect. In my head I am hearing lots of possibilities with some reverse reverbs and other play with vocals to give some more depth to the production. Once again, my opinion. It is not my song so my opinion does not matter anyway. Just what I am hearing, or don't hear actually.

Keep working at it man. Good tune. :)

Having a bit of problem understanding because of the language barrier. You can send me the vocal tracks (separate tracks of each), as well as a separate music only track (no vocals). ,wav format. All starting from same time.

If I misunderstood you, then I apologize.

Jimmy

I have everything that you asked me, but I find it strange voices in MP3 format O_o I do not know why, I worked on those, so if I can submit only those are exactly 9 tracks, including the beat , if you give me your email I can send you all, I'm sure you do something better than me, because I'm not an expert, I'd just sing, and unfortunately I do too badly in the studio, I live in is easier

Sorry man, my PM inbox was full. Send again. I will give you my email address for file sending.
