What Could Be Wrong??

Okay so I have a Toshiba Satellite L650 (and i love it btw), also i have Fl Studios 9 Producer Edition XXL. Now the computer is 64 bit and I have a Samson C01U Usb mic. When i record in Fl Studios it seems to be recording left (when i play back i only hear it on my left speaker). What could be the problem?
 
I've never used FL studio for recording, but I imagine that you are recording stereo when you only have one mic. Change the setting so that you record in mono, then it will play through both speakers. If you want a track to be only on the left, or an in between (say 75% right speaker), then just pan. Hope this helps!
