Firstly thanks for your replies to my previous post. I have a Korg soundlink DRS with adat in/out which I am currently running into my fostex recorder to record 8 tracks at the same time. I really need to bypass the fostex and go into the pc and one of the main audio programs. What soundcards will support optical in and provide me with the 8 tracks? I am really looking for the cheapest option as its only for my own band etc. I looked at this http://www.emu.com/products/product.asp?product=10447 but am not sure on the relevence to what I need.
